In January 2013, the EPA finalized its two rulings on National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE). This ruling, which was primarily issued in 2010, affects existing stationary engines using diesel (CI) and natural gas (SI) fuels.
