Universal Provides Silencers to the VPSA Application of a Copper Mine in South China
Universal succeeded in providing 10 silencers to a copper mine in Southern China with VPSA (Vacuum-Pressure Swing Adsorption) application. There are 2 blower inlet silencers, 2 vent exhaust silencers and 4 vacuum pump exhaust silencers.
Because of great swing in exhaust flow and pressure, it faced a big safety problem in silencers' running. Especially for the vacuum pump exhaust silencers. Flow: 850~1700m3/min; Pressure: +15 ~ -60 KPA in 30s.
Universal was chosen for this project because of its experience and specialized knowledge. The project was delivered on time and worked well. This vacuum pump silencer model is Special URD-40, with 9.65m height, 2.3m O/D casing and 11 ton weight.
