Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems are used to treat NOx emissions created by natural gas lean and rich burn engines and turbines and diesel engines. Selective Catalytic Reduction systems are one of the more complex emission treatment products on the market today. The complexity comes from the advanced control technology required to ensure optimum system performance as treatment needs are highly dependent on the engines real time operation.
Universal Emission Technologies offers NOx treatment using an innovative PLC-based Urea dosing system with feedback control and analysis. Each system can be offered as skid-mounted, turn-key, or as a custom integrated system. The SCR system treats 90% of NOx emissions. The modular design also allows oxidation catalyst elements to be incorporated into a single, common reactor housing, greatly reducing assembly and installation complexity.
This turn-key SCR system was designed and manufactured for easy installation on a power gen set.
