Universal Emission Technologies Adds Dr. Frank Mao to Technical Team

Dr. Mao provides extensive expertise on emission control devices.

Jay Warner, Engineering Manager – Emission Technology, at the Stoughton, Wisconsin, Global Headquarters, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Frank Mao as Senior Development Engineer. Dr. Mao's responsibilities will center on technologies for treating nitrous oxides and particulate matter.

Dr. Mao was recently at Dow Automotive as a Senior Development Specialist where he developed and managed the laboratory for engine and emission control systems. This position required him to work closely with engine manufacturers around the world.  Dr. Mao was also employed with Cummins, Inc. as a Technical Specialist, developing various catalyst applications. Dr. Mao earned both a B.S. and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has authored various articles and has been awarded a number of patents in the area of emission control.
