Universal's Brian Kahl Promoted to COO

Brian Kahl is tasked to grow Universal's exhaust systems business.

On June 14, Brian Kahl was elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer for Universal Acoustic & Emission Technologies, Inc., a global leader in design and manufacturing of exhaust systems solutions. He immediately assumed the responsibility of leading all business functions, including global and domestic operations, sales and technical support. He is also tasked to continue to grow Universal's exhaust systems business.

Mr. Kahl joined Universal in November, 2008 and led the Emission Technologies and Industrial Products Groups. His career includes roles within Nelson Industries, five years as Sales Director at Universal Silencer and most recently as the General Manager of the Global Exhaust Business Unit of Cummins Filtration.
